The Gericke GMS Multiflux® Batch Mixer is a double shaft powder mixer designed to achieve superb homogeneity while preserving high-quality ingredients. Utilizing two counter-rotating mixing tools operating at a Froude Number of 1.1, it forms a mechanical fluidized zone that guarantees high radial and axial transfer rates. This results in short mixing times and gentle handling of delicate products, making it ideal for industries such as food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals. Available in sizes from 100 to 4000 liters, the mixer features a standard cantilevered design for easy access through a large swiveling front door, simplifying inspection and cleaning. Optional fast rotating dispersion tools can be integrated into the front door to facilitate the efficient distribution of liquids onto particles or deagglomeration of lumps. The system can handle up to 16 mixing cycles per hour, and is available in extractable versions for rapid, validated dry cleaning procedures, meeting stringent hygiene requirements of EHEDG and GMP guidelines.
