High-performance horizontal cartoner for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics
The A3 Cartoner from FamarTec is high-performance mechanical action continuous motion cartoning machine for the horizontal packaging of pharmaceutical products and cosmetics in pre-glued cartons. The A3 can operate at up to 300 cartons per minute, and is suitable for the high-volume cartoning of blister packs, trays, tubes, small bottles and similar products. The A3 is suitable for positioning downstream of packaging machines, or upstream of weight control, labelling, serialisation and case packaging systems.
As standard, the A3 offers pre-adapted and pre-extended chains for carton transport along with positive opening by continuous motion extractor arms and mechanical correlation. The A3 can be specified with slot or glue flap closure, as well as combines glue and slot options. A touchscreen control system with easy-to-use icon display ensures quick and simple changeover and operations monitoring.
A large range of optional units enables the A3 to meet your complete requirements. Options include automated instruction leaflet insertion, barcode reading, OCR/OCV systems for pre-printed codes and data, inspection systems to confirm the presence of instruction inserts and product within cartons, stamping, inkjet or laser coding systems, tamper-evident systems for glue or label tampering, and full integration with serialisation systems.
