Continuous chocolate line with horizontal ball mills

For mixing and refining cocoa liquor, cocoa powder, sugar, and lecithin, several methods can be utilized, such process can be easily accomplished through the use of horizontal ball mills and liquid conching.

Fine processing of chocolate masses

The EMA-Choc 1000 and EMA-Choc 2800 are lines of high performance horizontal conical agitators ball mills for the refining of compound, coatings, creams and bread spreads in continuous process; with a processing time/capacity between 1200 to 3200 Kg/h. The innovative approach combines a pre-mixer with ball mill refiners, for intermediate and/or fine grinding results in an efficient and sustainable production process.

The Continuous chocolate line with horizontal ball mills is suitable for both crystal and powdered sugar based recipes. The horizontal and conical grinding unit has a high-flow rate design which allows to get an ultra-fine refining below 20 microns (D90). The highly wear-resistant materials guarantee the maximum life span of the grinding tools, less wear and the lowest iron intake for the product.
