Continuous butter production system
In modern dairy processing facilities, there is a need for efficient and consistent systems to produce high-quality butter from varying cream types while adhering to strict food safety standards.

Produces butter from sweet or sour cream
The Butter Making Machine BUE by GEA is designed for continuous butter production from both sweet and sour cream. Using the Fritz process, the system ensures adherence to high German Butter Standards. It has the capability to dose three liquid additives for lactic or salted butter variations. The process involves precise heating of cream, churning to butter granules, cooling in a buttermilk bath, and multiple stages of kneading and mixing. The design features a CIP-cleanable system with minimal product loss, stainless steel housing, and easy access for maintenance. All parts in contact with the product are stainless steel, and the seals are FDA approved. This system supports feed capacities from 1,600 kg/h to 26,000 kg/h and final product outputs from 800 kg/h to 13,000 kg/h.
