The ZGF Centric Pelletizer from Coperion is designed for producing directly expanded food stuffs, extruded chemical products, and pharmaceutical applications. It features a centrally arranged knife rotor and die plate, ensuring uniform pellet length which can be adjusted by the number of knives and the rotor speed. The quick release connections and swivellable pelletizer hood allow for easy access during cleaning and die plate changes. The spring-loaded knife rotor maintains consistent contact with the die plate, ensuring high-quality pellet production. It also includes a safety device to prevent the pelletizer hood from opening until the motor is at a standstill. Available in various models, the ZGF 30, ZGF 70, and ZGF 125 accommodate different production needs with motor power ranging from 1.1 to 11 kW.
