Bioreactor for mammalian and microbial cell cultivation
In modern bioengineering, precise control over cell culture conditions is paramount. Microbial growth and mammalian cell cultivation require systems that offer flexibility, reliable scalability, and robust monitoring to ensure optimal results.
Enables versatile and scalable cell culture processes
The BioFlo® 320 by Eppendorf is an advanced bioreactor designed to meet the diverse needs of cell culture and microbiology research. This bioreactor system supports a range of vessel types, including autoclavable borosilicate glass and stainless-steel dished-bottom vessels for rapid heat transfer, as well as water-jacketed vessels for gentle temperature control. Available in volumes from 0.6 L to 10.5 L, it offers interchangeable direct and magnetic drive options. Users can select from multiple impellers, such as Rushton, pitched-blade, marine, and specialized packed-bed impellers, to suit various applications including stem cell culture, vaccine production, and biopolymer development. Integrated sensors and software ensure precise monitoring and automation, ideal for batch, fed-batch, and continuous processing. Eppendorf provides validation packages for processes requiring GMP compliance.
