Wafer sandwich cooling systems

In wafer production, ensuring that cream-filled wafer sandwiches are properly cooled is essential to guarantee a clean cut during slicing and to prepare them for packaging. This cooling step is crucial to setting the cream filling adequately.

Provides efficient and precise air cooling.

The Wafer Sandwich Cooling Tower KT by Hebenstreit is designed for cooling cream-filled wafer sandwiches to ensure the cream sets sufficiently for cutting and packaging. The system uses circulating air, which is continuously sucked off from the cooling zone, cleaned, and cooled in the evaporator unit. Depending on the refrigerating plant used, the evaporator unit can be either integrated into the cooling tower or installed externally. For cooling in high humidity environments or for moisture-sensitive products, the system offers air-drying features. Additionally, it can be connected to a central cold water network via a suitable heat exchanger. The cooling time ranges from 5 to 20 minutes based on product requirements, allowing precise control over the cooling process.

Benefits

  • Ensures precise and clean cuts for wafer sandwiches
  • Adjustable cooling time between 5 to 20 minutes
  • Integrated or external evaporator unit options
  • Air-drying features for high humidity environments
  • Connection to central cold water networks available
