The STERY-LA and STERY-LC by Marchesini Group are linear systems designed for the aseptic filling and stoppering of vials. These systems handle both liquid and lyophilized (lyo) products and offer complete or partial rubber stoppering. Utilizing “Vertical Wall Mounting” technology, all mechanical parts are assembled on the backside, providing full accessibility to process parts from the front. This design simplifies integration with pharmaceutical walls and allows maintenance access from the back to prevent contamination. The balcony-style vial transport system ensures ideal airflow laminarity, while various filling systems, including Rotary Piston Pumps and Peristaltic Pumps, cater to different product requirements. Designed for quick wash-in-place or traditional cleaning, these systems also support rapid decontamination cycles using Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP). Additional features include nitrogen flushing during stoppering to minimize residual air and integrated statistical or 100% weight control IPC. The models can handle vials ranging from 2R to 100 ml at an output of up to 24,000 pieces per hour.
