The COMPRIMA by IMA is an advanced tablet press designed to overcome these challenges with its centrifugal force-driven powder feeding system. This system ensures accurate die filling without powder mix segregation, enabling high production speeds regardless of tablet shape. The processing area is isolated with seals and bellows to prevent contamination, and a Clean In Place (CIP) system allows for a fully automatic, validatable cleaning cycle. Suitable for high containment applications (OEL 5), it features glove ports and negative pressure within the processing area for operational safety. The COMPRIMA offers various models with capacities ranging up to 300,000 tablets per hour and is capable of handling round tablets of 5-17 mm and oblong tablets of 5-21.5 mm, with a compression force up to 80 kN.
