The LDCS Hi-Coater® by Freund is a laboratory development coating system designed for process feasibility, development, and clinical batches. This portable, self-contained unit features six fully perforated interchangeable pans ranging from 0.5L to 8L, accommodating batch sizes from 0.04 kg to 6.4 kg. With an anti-marking coating pan, recipe-driven control system, and anti-bearding spray gun, the LDCS ensures uniform and consistent coating. The system supports film, sugar, and solvent coatings, and includes an integral drain for rapid cleaning. Optional features such as Smart-Safe™ containment, mini-tab pans, and inline PAT monitoring enhance its versatility. The user-friendly color touchscreen control system offers automatic and manual modes, maintaining precise control over inlet airflow, pan pressure, and spray rate. The system meets the 21 CFR Part 11 data handling requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
