Optimize particle processing with spouted bed technology
The Glatt ProCell® series is a spouted bed system designed to process fine or large and irregular particles, as well as temperature-sensitive or sticky materials. This system combines spouted bed technology with the multi-zone concept of the GF series to allow continuous processing. Particles are fluidized using upward-flowing process air, which enters the chamber through longitudinal gaps rather than a sieve bottom. The widened cross-section above the gaps reduces air velocity, directing particle movement within the chamber. Nozzles for top or bottom spraying ensure that spraying occurs at the point of highest energy input, achieving spray rates comparable to fluidized bed processes but with half the layer volume, reducing residence time. Adaptable to various industries—including food, feed, and chemicals—the system includes features such as process air conditioning, dust removal, and explosion protection.
