Small scale cashew nut processing plant
Processing cashew nuts manually can be labor-intensive and time-consuming. Ensuring consistent quality and efficiency is challenging, especially when it comes to shelling, peeling, and sorting the nuts. Automating these processes is essential to meet industrial standards and improve productivity.

Grades, shells, peels, and sorts cashew nuts
The small scale cashew nut processing plant by Taizy Food Machinery is designed for semi-automatic processing of cashew nuts. The line includes multiple machines that replace manual labor, ensuring high efficiency and low energy consumption. The process begins with a hoist that delivers raw cashews to a grading machine. The grading machine sorts nuts by size to improve shelling accuracy. Following this, a steam cooker loosens the shell for easier cracking by the shelling machine. The equipment then uses a shell kernel screening machine to separate shells from kernels. Finally, the nuts are dried, peeled using thermo-pneumatic principles to avoid damage, and sorted into grades. The line processes 400–500 kg of cashews per hour, maintaining food industry standards and reducing environmental contamination.
