The Seital Separation Self-Cleaning Separator from SPX Flow is designed to optimize the separation of liquid/liquid/solid mixtures. This separator recovers fine particles ranging from 0.5 to 500 µm using a high peripheral centrifugal field (G-force). Operating with a bowl that accelerates the mixture to achieve rotating speed, it efficiently separates the lighter and heavier phases, with clarified light phase moving to the center and heavier phase to the outer diameter. The separated solids are collected and automatically discharged through a patented mechanism involving hydraulic rams and water-controlled valves, all managed by a PLC. The control system supports various automated cycles, allowing adjustments in discharge volume, frequency, and combination of partial/total discharges, enhancing operational flexibility and minimizing intervention.
