The conditioning technology from Schwarte Processing of the HF FoodTech Group provides reliable thermal treatment solutions for oilseed preparation. Two main types are offered: the Drum-type Conditioner and the Rotary Tube Bundle Conditioner. The Drum-type features a horizontal cylindrical design with a double-jacket drum that utilizes indirect heating via saturated steam. This design, coupled with a specially designed agitator, ensures homogeneous seed treatment and high drying efficiency by rapidly discharging vapors. Additionally, the drum is available in two sizes (1.25 m diameter and 7.5 m long or 2.0 m diameter and 9.0 m long), and multiple drums can be stacked for increased capacity. The Rotary Tube Bundle Conditioner, on the other hand, consists of a rotating horizontal cylindrical drum with centrally arranged, steam-heated tube bundles. This configuration provides an optimal heating surface-to-space ratio and high drying efficiency. It’s ideal for large capacity plants, as it offers standard diameters of 3.0 m and 3.5 m, with varying drum lengths to accommodate specific requirements.
