Rotary feeder for powdered bulk materials

Handling and transporting powdered bulk materials in industrial processes often require precision and reliability. Ensuring safe and efficient feeding and discharging in pneumatic vacuum and pressurized conveying systems poses significant challenges, especially under varying pressure conditions.

Ensure efficient feeding and discharging

The D-type rotary feeder, designed by Zeppelin Systems, is specifically tailored for feeding and discharging bulk materials in pneumatic vacuum and pressurized systems, operating efficiently up to a differential pressure of 1.0 bar (g). The rotary feeder is available in seven sizes (160–500) and can be customized for various application areas. It features a 10-chamber rotor optimized for minimal gas leakage, a reduced height for space-saving installation, and robust ribbed cast housing for enhanced durability. The equipment incorporates integrated leakage-gas nozzles, sealed shaft passages, and is designed to withstand mechanical pressures from -1.0 to 10 bar (g) and temperatures from -10 to +60°C. It complies with the Machinery Directive and ATEX standards, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Benefits

  • Minimal gas leakage due to optimized rotor spacing
  • Durable and low-maintenance design
  • Customizable for diverse application needs
  • Compact design with reduced height
  • Compliance with industry standards for safety and reliability
