The GFC-520 GRANUFORCE™ by Freund is a dry granulation system designed for pilot and production-scale applications. It utilizes a cantilevered roll design with a vertical tapered feed screw system and standard serrated rolls. This technology produces uniform, dense compacted sheets by compacting powdered materials between two uniquely designed rolls. It offers a wide production capacity ranging from 5 to 130 kg per hour. The system features parallel roll movement and a unique compaction seal design to reduce fines, enhancing production yields. Optional inline PAT monitoring and de-aeration ensures product quality and consistency. The smart containment design achieves containment levels of 5µg/m3 without an isolator. This system is easy to clean and operate, with a color touchscreen control system for efficient workflow management. The GFC-520 is suitable for industries such as pharmaceuticals and chemicals.
