Robotic tray handling for baking production lines

In large-scale baking operations, handling trays manually can be time-consuming and prone to errors. Efficient tray handling is essential to maintain productivity and reduce labor costs.

Automates the handling of baking trays

The WP Robot by WP Riehle automates the handling of baking trays, significantly improving efficiency in production lines. Utilizing state-of-the-art robotic arms, it can pick up empty trays from unloading stations and place them on conveyor belts. The conveyor belts transport the trays to fill them with baked products. A second robot then takes the filled trays and places them in stacker trolleys. Specific processes can handle up to 8 trays per minute. The WP Robot integrates smoothly with additional automation steps, such as automatic feeding and cleaning stations, providing a seamless workflow. This robot is highly flexible and can be adapted to multiple tasks, including scoring dough products with precision using various cutting tools like ultrasonic and waterjet.
