Robotic denesting system for Rtu vials

In pharmaceutical production, handling and processing Ready-To-Use (RTU) vials in aseptic environments presents challenges. The removal and transfer of these sterile vials need to be highly precise to avoid contamination and ensure product integrity.

Automates denesting and transferring Rtu vials

The ROBOTIC D-NEST by IMA is a fully automated denesting and handling system for RTU (Ready-To-Use) vials. Utilizing specially designed six-axis robots, it performs denesting in both upstream and downstream processes under aseptic conditions. For upstream processing, the system precisely removes vials from the nest, fills, check-weighs, stoppered them, and then places them back into the nest or transfers them via a conveyor for further processing. In downstream operations, it removes filled and stoppered vials for vial capping or automatic loading in lyophilized products. This setup reduces the risk of cross-contamination and improves the overall product integrity, meeting high-level quality control requirements. The compact and GMP-compliant design ensures efficient use of space and integration with IMA isolator systems.

Benefits

  • Complete robotized denesting process
  • Compact, GMP-compliant design
  • Reduces cross-contamination risks
  • Handles both upstream and downstream processes
  • Improves overall product integrity
