The Double Cone Blender by Freund is designed for the efficient dry blending of pharmaceutical powders and granules. This system features a blending vessel with rounded corners to remove dead areas and improve blending uniformity. It includes an inspection hatch and discharge butterfly valve for easy access and operation. The motor is directly attached to the shaft, which eliminates the need for belts or chains, reducing maintenance operations and noise. The electrical control panel and mechanical drive system are housed inside self-standing support legs, providing a compact and organized setup. A safety switch on the hinged gate ensures operation ceases when the gate is open. Constructed from AISI 316L stainless steel for product contact parts, the blender meets high sanitary standards with internal polishing RA ≤ 0.4 μm and external satin RA ≤ 0.8 μm. With blending volumes ranging from 125 L to 4000 L, and equipped with options for hazardous locations, automatic management, and vacuum loading, the blender is versatile for various pharmaceutical needs.
