The GSD-200 GENESIS™ from Freund is a flexible, portable spray dryer designed for laboratory and pilot-scale applications in pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals. Its modular design, featuring a drying chamber, atomizing nozzle, cyclone, and exhaust filter, supports both open and closed loop spray drying with nitrogen inerting for solvents. Capable of producing commercial-scale particle properties, it bridges the gap between development and optimization. This unit is ideal for creating tablet coatings, granulated supplements, and enzyme powders. With an evaporation capacity of 1 kg/hr (water-based), it is energy efficient and operates with a reliable VFD motor and proven filter technology, ensuring longer uninterrupted runs. Crafted with 316L stainless steel, it meets CE, ATEX, and other industry standards. The system supports a range of spray nozzles, including a two-fluid nozzle and optional twin jet, and features an internal gas handling system with an electric heater. Additionally, it offers a COMPU™ control system and optional features such as a solvent recovery unit for enhanced operational efficiency.
