Remove dirt particles from produce efficiently
The Knocker Conveyor by JBT is designed to remove fines, such as insects and sand, from produce during the dry stage of processing. This is achieved through belt knockers located underneath the perforated belt that shake the belt, causing dirt particles to fall through into stainless steel trays. The special modular belt features large openings, which enhance the efficiency of the cleaning process. The conveyor is equipped with an air knife to blow the inner side of the belt, and a frequency controller for belt speed to prevent produce spoiling. Its construction includes a hollow box frame with hingeable sideguards for easy maintenance and cleaning. With an infeed height of 85 cm and an outfeed height of 140 cm, the Knocker Conveyor is versatile and can be integrated into various processing lines.
