Industrial nut crusher for dried fruit processing

In industrial food processing, reducing the size of dried nuts such as hazelnuts, almonds, and pistachios is essential for creating consistent and high-quality nut grains. This step is critical in producing nut pastes, spreads, and other confectionery products.

Efficiently crush and sift roasted nuts

The Grain by Selmi is a robust and precise nut crusher designed for reducing previously roasted nuts into grains. The product is fed through a loading hopper and passes through rollers of varying sizes to achieve the desired granularity. The crushed nuts are then collected in a container and sifted through a perforated grid to separate grains from the flour. The system features millimetre adjustments on a graduated scale to ensure precise grain size, making it versatile for different nut processing requirements. It operates on a 220 V single-phase electrical supply, requiring 0.6 kW of power. The machine has an hourly production capacity of 60-70 kg with dimensions of 1420 mm in height, 550 mm in width, and 850 mm in depth.

Benefits

  • Precise control over grain size with millimetre adjustments
  • High hourly production capacity of up to 70 kg
  • Efficient separation of grains from flour
  • Robust construction for reliable operation
