Industrial lump breaker for compact material deagglomeration

In industrial settings, compacted materials can pose challenges for downstream processes. Whether bulk materials have compacted during storage or transport, ensuring their flow-ability is critical for successful operations like milling, mixing, or conveying.

Efficiently break down compacted materials

The Hanningfield LumpBreaker is designed for the efficient deagglomeration of compacted materials into smaller particles. This lump breaker can process up to 10,000 kgs/hr, making it ideal for high-throughput applications. Its robust construction features dual-shaft, cross-meshed rotating breaker arms that reduce particle size through cutting and shearing. The unit has a 2.2kW motor set to a standard speed of 200RPM, with an option for variable speed. The smallest achievable particle size is approximately 10mm. All contact parts are made of 316L stainless steel with FDA-compliant seals, while non-contact parts are made of 304 stainless steel. The lump breaker can be customized with various mounting solutions and inlet/outlet configurations, ensuring seamless integration into your process. Optional features include variable speed and ATEX certification.
