Indirect drying drums for solvent-based products

In industries where solvent-based products are processed, standard drying methods can be inefficient and hazardous. High energy consumption, risk of oxidation, and processing costs present significant challenges in drying these products safely and effectively.

Optimize solvent-based product drying with reduced oxygen atmosphere

The Indirect Drying Drums by Allgaier Process Technology use hot air as a convective drying technique, optimizing the drying process of solvent-based products. By utilizing preheated, dust-free cooler exhaust air, these drums save on primary energy and fuel. The reduced oxygen atmosphere makes them particularly suitable for drying products like zeolite, gypsum, silicate powder, and titanium dioxide. The dampened material is moved on one side of a separating apparatus wall, while the apparatus wall is heated from the other side, ensuring effective heat transfer and drying. The robust design ensures long-lasting use, and there are minimal process costs since there are no filter systems required for after-treatment of exhaust air.

Benefits

  • High efficiency with low investment costs for exhaust air filters
  • High safety due to reduced oxygen atmosphere, preventing oxidation
  • Minimal process costs with no need for exhaust air filter systems
  • Robust and long-lasting construction for reliable operation
  • Suitable for fine-grained, non-adherent bulk materials
