The CMC mixing unit by INOXPA is a specialized skid designed for the fast and homogeneous dispersion of hydrocolloid products, including carboxymethylcellulose, flours, carbopol, pectin, and guar or xanthan gum. The unit features a rotor-stator mixer at the bottom of the tank, which shears the product to increase water-additive contact area, preventing lump formation. Additionally, the tank includes a cowles-type agitator to efficiently circulate the powder and improve dispersion times. For higher viscosity products, the unit can be equipped with a heating jacket and an alternative agitator like an anchor-type propeller. This unit is optimized to handle products up to 5000 cP and can be customized for more viscous substances. The equipment is constructed from AISI 316L stainless steel for parts in contact with the product and AISI 304L for other materials, ensuring durability and compliance with sanitary standards.
