Hot air sterilization for glass containers

When handling pharmaceutical products, ensuring that glass ampoules, vials, syringes, and cartridges are completely sterile is critical. Conventional sterilization methods may not achieve the required standards, potentially compromising product safety and integrity.

Achieve effective depyrogenation seamlessly

The Type 401-40x from Bausch Advanced Technology Group is a hot air sterilization system designed to sterilize glass containers such as ampoules, vials, syringes, and cartridges. The system operates through three primary zones: Pre-Heating, Depyrogenation, and Cooling. This setup allows the containers to be gently heated while ensuring energy efficiency. Air convection technology in both the pre-heating and sterilizing zones helps in achieving uniform temperature distribution, controlled by multiple sensors. The system boasts a maximum capacity of 610 kg/hr and can be fed automatically from an upstream process or manually via trays. To guarantee repeatable settings, it includes temperature and differential pressure indicators along with a PLC for monitoring. Servo-controlled baffles aid in regulating cross flow, ensuring optimal conditions inside the chamber.

Benefits

  • Energy-efficient with air convection heating
  • Maintains ideal and repeatable settings
  • High capacity of up to 610 kg/hr
  • Automated or manual feeding options
  • Precise temperature regulation with multiple sensors
