Continuous Uht treatment with direct steam injection
The Tetra Therm® Aseptic VTIS is an aseptic processing unit from Tetra Pak that offers continuous ultra-high temperature (UHT) treatment of liquid food under sterile conditions using direct steam injection. This system is particularly suitable for heat-sensitive, low-acid products such as milk, cream, enriched milk, soy milk, and dairy desserts. The process also supports smooth products like soups, sauces, and non-dairy creams. The capacity ranges from 2,000 liters per hour up to 30,000 liters per hour, accommodating various production scales. The rapid heating mechanism of direct steam injection heats the product instantly from 80°C to UHT temperatures within 0.1 seconds, ensuring minimal impact on taste, color, and nutritional value.
