Continuous spray dryer for thermosensitive products
In climates that require gentle drying processes to handle thermosensitive materials, maintaining product integrity during moisture removal can be challenging. Traditional drying methods may not provide the required precision, leading to potential degradation of heat-sensitive compounds during processing.

Produces fine dry powder with gentle drying
The RINA Spray Dryer by Riera Nadeu is designed for continuous operation, atomizing slurries in a vertical drying tower to produce fine dry powder. It is specifically suited for pumpable thermosensitive products that need soft, prolonged drying. By using either high-pressure or bi-fluid spraying systems, the drying tower’s size is tailored based on spray nozzle parameters and hot fluid flow rate, optimizing both the tower’s diameter and height for evaporation efficiency. The system minimizes particle loss with various separation configurations, including cyclones, bag filters, and scrubbers, ensuring compliance with emission standards. Customization options are available for drying corrosive or toxic products, featuring Hastelloy construction and meeting OEB4 containment requirements. The dryer also supports operation in explosive environments with appropriate certifications. Drying lines can function in a closed-loop with nitrogen for added safety.
