Continuous cocoa bean roaster

In cocoa processing, achieving the perfect roast is crucial to developing the desired aroma and flavor profiles in chocolate products. Traditional batch roasting methods can be time-consuming and may not provide the consistency required for large-scale operations.

Ensure consistent roasting quality

The Continuous Cocoa Bean Roaster FRV by Hamburg Dresdner Maschinenfabriken GmbH is designed for convective roasting of cocoa beans, ensuring uniform roasting and optimal aroma development. This roaster operates with a modular setup, allowing up to 4 roasting zones. Each zone can be individually controlled for temperature, providing a wide range of roasting temperatures up to 155°C. Ideal for both small and large chocolate manufacturers, the FRV offers capacities ranging from 1200 kg/h to 4800 kg/h. Optional cooling zones allow cooling of the beans to 55-75°C post-roasting. With minimal mechanical movement and counter-flow air circulation, the FRV ensures gentle roasting and low maintenance requirements. Additionally, it supports heating through various sources, including biomass fuels.
