The GEA FES GMX series is a compact refrigeration compressor package that spans a range of 164 to 618 CFM. Utilizing various refrigerants including ammonia (R-717), which has a global warming potential (GWP) rating of zero, this package offers multiple oil-cooling options such as thermosiphon, liquid-injection, and water-cooled configurations. The package features a service-friendly, compact layout with a D-flange motor that requires no alignment and a multi-stage oil separator design to guarantee low oil loss. Additionally, the discharge hold-back feature eliminates the need for an external oil pump on most R-717 packages. The system is managed via a high-definition, multi-touch GEA Omni control panel, offering user-friendly operation and precise control.
