The EFR by Root Sciences is a comprehensive solution designed for cold processed ethanol extraction in the cannabis and hemp industries. It is the only closed-loop, all-in-one system that handles extraction, filtration, and solvent recovery in a single semi-automated unit. This system processes 30-60 lbs of biomass per hour and can recover 95-98% of ethanol used. Featuring a user-friendly, single-operator design, it fits into existing extraction booths with a 10′ x 8′ base footprint. The EFR’s compact modular design ensures that only a minimal amount of space is required. It also integrates an in-line chilling option, able to reach temperatures as low as -40°C. The system is fully C1D1 and C1D2 compliant, has been engineered for compatibility with multiple electrical configurations (208V, 240V, or 480V), and comes with a UL listed control panel. Additionally, it offers the possibility of direct integration with a dual-stage attachment for immediate distillation readiness.
