Centrifugal sifter for particle size classification

In industries dealing with powdered or granulated products, precise particle size classification is critical. Traditional sifting methods can struggle with large volumes and complex processes, leading to inefficiencies and potential product inconsistencies.

Classifies particles consistently and efficiently

The Centrifugal Sifter from Freund is designed to handle large volumes and complex processes, making it a robust solution for industries requiring precise particle size classification. This sifter transports the product via a screw into the sifting chamber. Slightly inclined blades on the shaft push the product toward a nylon sieve on a steel support. Fine particles pass through the mesh, while larger particles are separated and directed to the scrap exit. Notable features include mechanical stainless steel/PTFE seals flowed with air or nitrogen and a design that allows for quick disassembly and reassembly without tools. Available models include the S40, S65, and S85, with capacities of up to 3,000 kg/hr and power ranging from 1.1 kW to 3 kW. Options for pneumatic transport, rotobutterfly valve material loading, and conical mill discharge connection are also available. The Centrifugal Sifter conforms to the ATEX directive for explosive environments.
