Automatic tub de-bagging and de-nesting solution

Pharmaceutical production environments often need efficient and reliable methods for handling RTU (Ready-to-Use) containers to maintain sterility and streamline processes. Traditional methods can involve significant manual labor and risks of contamination or breakage, especially when dealing with high volumes.

Automates tub de-bagging and de-nesting efficiently

The CombiSys machine DDC 90106 from Bausch+Ströbel is equipped with three work stations for the automatic de-bagging and de-nesting of tubs. The first station heats the adhesive around the tub to remove the lid and liner simultaneously by suction, disposing both into a bin integrated within the base for simple disposal. The second station handles tub de-nesting, and the third station uses compact holders to extract RTU containers from the nest by suction, transferring them to the next process step without glass-to-glass contact. The DDC 90106 supports up to 12,000 items per hour, with container diameters ranging from 7 to 30 mm and heights from 35 to 100 mm. It is specifically designed for pharmaceutical applications, ensuring optimal laminar airflow and easy, centralized operation.
