The cera2seal® by Wattron is a digital heating system specialized in sealing and welding processes. It allows the implementation of intricate packaging geometries, such as irregular shapes and rings of varying diameters and widths. This capability is enabled by the customizable arrangement of individual heating circuits. An integrated temperature sensor on the heating system surface ensures precise control of actual temperature distribution. With heating rates up to 50 K/s and a seal temperature range up to 200°C, it provides quick readiness for production. The system features control and regulation hardware integrated or as a control cabinet temperature regulator, facilitating integration into machine control via common field bus protocols like Ethernet/IP and EtherCAT.
