Weigh belt feeder for low-density materials

In industries where precise dosing of low-density materials such as alternative fuels is critical, traditional equipment can struggle to maintain accuracy and consistent flow rates. This can result in inefficiencies and increased operational costs.

Handles and doses low-density materials accurately

The MAMMUTHUS Light, developed by the HASLER Group, is a gravimetric apron extractor weigh feeder tailored for the continuous transport and dosing of low-density materials. This design is particularly effective for high-flow rate applications, integrating both an extractor and a weigh feeder in one compact system, minimizing both the equipment footprint and maintenance needs. The MAMMUTHUS Light is ideally used for Solid Recovered Fuels (SRF) to power energy production, significantly reducing fossil fuel use and greenhouse gas emissions. With its metal apron conveyor and built-in force sensors, it ensures accurate dosing with an accuracy of ±1%. Key features include a pressure drum at the hopper outlet, a crusher at the discharge point, and a waste collector. The system’s robust construction guarantees durability, and it is well-suited for continuous operations in cement plants, where dosing precision is vital. Control can be managed via the SCMIII material flow control system, offering real-time data on flow and quantity.
