The ED 12 is a volumetric single-screw feeder developed by Three-Tec. It is designed without a bridge destroyer, featuring intervention protection and an option for either horizontal or vertical discharge. This feeder is optimized for fine dosing of products such as powders, flakes, fibers, granulates, and agglomerates with a particle size limit of 2 mm. It offers a throughput of 2.4-35 l/h with an AC three-phase motor and 0.05-31 l/h with a stepper motor. The ED 12 includes a metering tool with a diameter of 12 mm and a dosing hopper content of 3 liters or 1 liter depending on the motor type. Weighing approximately 6 kg (without control), the feeder runs at speeds of up to 560 min-1 with an AC motor and 1-500 min-1 with a stepper motor. This makes it particularly suitable for small-scale operations requiring precision and consistency.
