Top loading case packer for loose or bundled bottles

In the packaging sector, efficiently handling bottles with unusual shapes presents significant challenges. Ensuring swift and precise packaging without compromising on throughput is crucial to meet production demands, especially when dealing with diverse bottle shapes and sizes.

Erect, load, and seal cases efficiently

The 3754 by IMA is a servo-driven, top-loading case packer designed for handling loose or bundled bottles, even those with unusual shapes. This case packer ensures optimal output by managing two cases simultaneously. It operates with a remarkably compact footprint and high-speed processing capabilities, handling up to 50 cases per minute in its duplex version. The system is equipped with 2 infeed hoppers and a case magazine that manages 2 rows of cases, enhancing the efficiency of case erecting, loading, and sealing. The forced opening and closing groups process two cases at the same time, boosting machine output. Additionally, non-stop worm screws ensure correct orientation of difficult-shaped bottles. The machine also offers great accessibility for cleaning, a robot for inserting the collation into the case, and the option for cases to be closed with adhesive tape, hot-melt glue, or both. Complete changeover is possible within 20 minutes, with an optional automatic gripper head change available.
