Tomato processing plant for sauce and paste

In large-scale food production, manufacturers face the challenge of converting fresh tomatoes into consistent, high-quality tomato products like sauce and paste. This involves extensive steps such as washing, mashing, concentration, and sterilization, all while maintaining food safety standards and taste integrity.

Process fresh tomatoes into sauce and paste

The Bertuzzi tomato processing plant is designed to efficiently transform fresh tomatoes into tomato sauce, paste, and other products. It handles washing and sorting with a concrete basin and a leaves removal system before mashing and refining tomatoes using Bertuzzi’s TurboMax pulper for smooth consistency. The Frumaco Tomatech evaporator then concentrates tomato juice into paste, with models available up to five effects for various capacities. Sterilization is achieved using the STTH tube in tube sterilizer, followed by aseptic filling into drums or bags. The plant integrates cleaning procedures via the CipMatic system to ensure all equipment meets international food safety standards.
