Thawing chamber for block frozen products

In food processing industries, block frozen and individually quick frozen (IQF) products need to be thawed efficiently while maintaining product quality. Traditional methods often struggle to ensure even thawing, leading to quality issues and high energy use.

Ensures even and uniform product thawing

The Cabinplant Thawing Chamber is a modular thawing solution designed for batch thawing of block frozen and IQF products. Utilizing humidified air, the system maintains consistent temperature throughout the process, ensuring product quality is retained. Trolleys, each holding up to 750 kg, are filled with the frozen products and placed in the chamber. Heated air is then circulated via motorized fans and baffle plates, guaranteeing uniform thawing across all shelves. Available capacities range from 750 to 12,000 kg per batch, depending on the chamber model. The thawing chamber is particularly beneficial for industries dealing with frozen fish fillets, shellfish, meat, vegetables, and berries. The system supports various post-thawing applications like fresh, chilled, refrozen, semi-preserved, and fully-preserved states.

Benefits

  • Higher yield due to reduced drip loss
  • Maintained product quality throughout thawing
  • Reduced defrosting time
  • High homogeneity in thawing
