Utilizing a water-jacketed vessel with an AC motor and integrated load cells, this bioreactor maintains traditional stainless-steel bioreactor principles combined with single-use sterile contact surfaces. The HyPerforma 5:1 S.U.B. features a proprietary mixing system that provides conventional overhead mixing while preserving the sterility and integrity of the bioprocess container (BPC). It supports batch, fed batch, and perfusion cultures, and is compatible with various cell lines, including CHO, Sp2/0 hybridoma, PER.C6, HEK293, Vero, and MDCK. The bioreactor offers precise agitation control, options for analog or digital communication, and compatibility with industry-leading single-use and traditional sensors for pH, DO, and pressure monitoring. Additionally, its minimized footprint and reduced hold-up volumes enhance lab space efficiency. Designed for flexibility, the system can be used as a standalone vessel or integrated into a turnkey system with control platforms from the Finesse™ or Applikon™ families.
