The GEA FreshPasta Former 1 TC540 is a specialized forming system designed to handle all fresh pasta formats with ease. This unit receives the pasta sheet from an upstream process and reduces its thickness to the desired specification. Equipped with a precise mold cutting system, it doses the filling accurately for each shape, then uses knurling rollers and forks to form products like tortellini and other shapes with high precision. The double calibrating group, including a central thickness control, ensures uniform product thickness from 0.5 to 1.5 mm. The entire structure, made from stainless steel, is designed for high forming speeds—up to 150 hits per minute for certain pasta types—and includes an extractable carriage for easy cleaning. An HMI interface and electric panel simplify operation, making it a versatile solution for any fresh pasta production line.
