The GEA FreshPasta Former 1 C540B is a single sheet forming and filling system designed specifically for fresh pasta products such as ravioli and cappelletti. It receives the dough sheet from a preceding unit, reducing the thickness to a desired range of 0.5-1.5 mm. This unit features a double calibrating group, with central control of thickness in the second stage. A calibrated feeding belt ensures seamless transfer to the mould, which utilizes desmodromic camshafts for rapid and precise moulding at speeds up to 180 hits per minute. The system includes an alternating screw pump to dose fillings synchronously and a scrap cutter to efficiently manage sheet remnants.
