Single-chamber freeze dryer for liquid products

When dealing with large-scale drying of liquids such as milk or collagen gel, achieving precise temperature control and efficient drying processes is crucial. Challenges include managing complex temperature protocols and ensuring consistent, reproducible results.

Control freezing and drying with precision

The Sublimator EKS series from Zirbus is a single-chamber freeze dryer designed for drying liquids. The ice condenser is positioned directly behind the shelves, facilitating efficient contact drying. Temperature control is managed through brine oil circulating within the shelves, allowing both freezing and precise heating. This setup ensures complex temperature protocols can be defined and executed consistently. Available in various sizes with loading capacities ranging from 10 to 150 liters and shelf spaces from 1.04 to 15.0 m², these units cater to various industrial needs. Additional features include an industrial control system with a color touch panel and 20 programmable drying recipes. For specific applications, a two-chamber system (DKS) is also available, allowing for pressure rise tests to confirm drying completion. All units are capable of in-line H2O2 sterilization and can be customized with options like water-cooled refrigeration and stainless steel housing.
