Gently mix dry materials with consistent quality
The Screw Belt Mixer SBM/SBM-K by Zeppelin Systems is designed for dry materials with a bulk density of approximately 0.5 to 0.7 g/cm³. It is specifically engineered to gently mix these materials without introducing additional energy, preserving their original properties. The mixer features a stainless steel 1.4301 mixing hopper, equipped with support brackets for load-cells or frame mounting. A side-mounted inspection door allows easy access for inspection and cleaning. The bottom discharge stud and connection flange facilitate efficient unloading of the mixture. The mixing tool, designed as a ribbon blender, has bearings only on the top, eliminating sealing elements in the product mixing area. The flat-drive motor, reinforced for high axial and radial forces, includes an oil-drip plate and oil-leak indicator to prevent drive oil contamination of the mix. The vertical mixing tool operates at a constant or variable rotational speed, creating an upward-flow at the hopper’s periphery and a downward-flow at its center, ensuring thorough three-dimensional mixing.
