The Ottevanger Roll Feeders ensure a continuous and controlled feed to hammer mills. Driven by a 1.5 kW motor reducer, which is adjustable via a frequency converter, it guarantees an even supply. The roll feeder includes an integral stone catcher to remove heavy particles, while iron particles are extracted using a permanent magnet with an automatic cleaning system. These foreign materials are collected in trays to prevent contaminants from entering the hammer mill. For products with poor flow characteristics, a multiple dosing screw is available as an option. This sealed feed unit is designed for applications in the animal feed, pet food, and aqua feed industries and can handle capacities up to 60 t/h depending on the product type, with a maximum feed width of 1250 mm.
