Production system for multi-chamber portion packs

In the manufacturing of customer care and medical products, precise filling and sealing of multi-chamber portion packs are essential. This often involves the need for high output and reliable dosing systems to ensure product quality and consistency.

Manufacture precise and high-output portion packs

The PFM-K is a production system designed by Harro Hoefliger for the efficient manufacturing of single and multi-chamber portion packs using PVOH or plastic materials. It employs a chain transport system to move format plates through the process, starting with the deep drawing of the film via vacuum or cold/warm forming methods. The chambers are subsequently filled with liquids or powders and then sealed with a cover film before being cut or punched out. This machine features customizable product carriers and a variety of dosing systems suitable for both liquid and powder filling. It is capable of output rates ranging from 300 to 1800 products per minute, making it suitable for high-volume production environments. The PFM-K is versatile across various industries, including customer care, medical products, detergents, and coffee pads.
