Pneumatic conveying systems diverter valve

In pneumatic conveying systems, efficiently diverting the flow of bulk materials can often present challenges. Engineers often encounter issues such as material impact, dead zones, or unreliable sealing mechanisms which can increase downtime and maintenance costs.

Divert bulk material flow with precise control

The VST diverter valve by Zeppelin Systems is engineered to address these challenges in both dense and dilute phase pneumatic conveying systems. With a single-channel design and a 45° deflection angle, it provides a seamless transition for bulk materials. The internal rotor’s patented geometric shaping ensures zero-dead-space and impact-free diversion. This valve is available in nine sizes (100-350) and features a comprehensive sealing concept that allows for both static and inflatable seals. Constructed from high-quality cast aluminum and stainless steel, it ensures robustness and high operational safety, even for outdoor use. Operating pressure ranges from -1.0 to 6.0 bar, with a mechanical design pressure up to 10 bar. Moreover, it is capable of withstanding temperatures between -20°C and +120°C. The VST’s low maintenance design, direct monitoring through proximity sensors, and clear optical position indicators facilitate ease of operation.
