The FA Self-Cleaning Filter by GEA is designed to remove dust from pneumatic lines and other dust sources. Dusty air enters a chamber that contains bag filters. Heavy particles drop to the bottom due to speed variation, while residual dust is trapped in the filters. Clean air exits through the top. An automatic cleaning process uses a jet of compressed air in the opposite direction to clear the filter bags at timed intervals. A manometer continuously monitors pressure loss, ensuring filter efficiency. The filter is constructed with a stainless-steel frame, a cylindrical body, and an optional conical or scraper bed bottom. Internal surfaces are painted with food-safe paint, adhering to high hygiene standards.
