The LYOFAST by IMA is an industrial freeze dryer specifically designed for the biopharmaceutical industry. Unlike conventional systems, LYOFAST uses IMA Life’s patented FUSION™ technology to achieve higher quality and process reliability. The FUSION™ shelves are lighter and more resistant, facilitating optimal heat transfer. Supporting a shelf cooling capability down to -55°C and a condenser cooling range down to -75/120°C, the LYOFAST system accommodates various chamber geometries (cylindrical or rectangular) and configurations, making it suitable for bulk formats or liquid forms in vials, ampoules, or syringes. The system also features a two-stage reciprocating semi-hermetic, water-cooled refrigeration system, and vacuum measurements using an active Pirani type gauge. Its modular design compresses project timelines and reduces lead-times while offering significant cost savings.
