The Actini Batch Neutralization System (BNS) is engineered to adjust the pH of effluent from batch decontaminators. It features a modular design to handle wastewater from various sources, with daily capacities ranging from 1,000 to 16,000 liters. The system employs automatic injection of caustic and acid, managed by a pH probe in the recirculation loop that monitors and adjusts the effluent pH. A robust mixing pump ensures thorough dilution and mixing, while a high-flow pump allows for efficient emptying and pH measurement. If the pH is not within the acceptable range, the system recirculates the effluent for additional treatment. The BNS is available with options such as a plate heat exchanger for high-temperature effluent and redundant neutralization tanks for increased reliability. The system also includes a dedicated electrical cabinet with HMI for user-friendly operation.
